Marimekko mother

Marimekko is a brand really close my heart, because I have grown with it. My mother has a Marimekko shop, and sometimes its useful for me.

My new dot trousers! And thanks to the advance orders (summer clothes in the middle of winter? What?) Me and my dear mother will travel today to Helsinki, capital of  Finland! (Yes, it is a big thing for someone like me, who have to live in a little town every single day...)

I also have a summer/ weekend job ready because of the shop. Sometimes it's pain to have your mother as your boss, but it gives you a few extra benefits (like new clothes and trips and flexible working hours).

Tomorrow we are going to Marimekko office, but on Saturday I can relax and go to shopping!
Though I should save money...
Who cares, this is the best shopping chance in months.

And now, packing...

About books

If I haven't told you yet, I love books. I read whenever I have a chance, no matter where I am.

My favorite place in the city is the library. I try to go there at least once in a week. Sometimes I don't have time and I just run between the bookshelves and try to take as many as I can. -,-"   After a stressful week I love to slouch on a chair and stare at all the books, until people think I'm dead...

Some of the books I borrow come back without reading; I pick them up just by looking at the cover. Then I read them or lose my interest in them. One of the good books (picked by accident) is Lucian:

I have mentioned this book before right? It is a fantasy/romance book, about 600 pages long and great except in the end. If you get moved easily, prepare to cry.

I also like chic lit - books, in other words single ladies or girls in big cities going shopping. Great examples are Sex and the City, Agent, Shopaholic and Devil wears prada.

I am going to talk more about books, but that's it for now.

What about your favorite books? Suggest them to me!!!

Challenge. Now.

So, I got a challenge from Fullmoon. Now I should tell you my 5 weirdest habits.
After that, I have to answer 10 questions made by her, and those are:

1. What is your favorite movie?
Mirror mirror or Sex and The City.
2.What is the most useless thing in the world?
Coca cola. Yuk.
3.Do you believe in aliens?
Yes! NO. Green little men in Mars. No. Just no.
4.Pizza or chinese food?
Chinese food! I love beef with onions.
5.Who is the loveliest book character?
Lucian from "Lucian", but he screwed up in the end. So I have to pick Liisa from "Liisanblogi". She is a funny but realistic girl, unlike many stupid and naive heroines in other books.
6.What song would you remove among the hit-songs?
Gangnam style. I just HATE that song.
7.What animal would you like to be?
Snake. I have a "Who-I-should-bite" list. Beware of pink snakes hanging around cities.
8. If you had a one day left, what would you do?
First of all, how should I know when it's my last day. I would probably say goodbye to everybody and fly to London. I have to visit in London before I die!
9.What is the most foolish cloth you own?
I don't have any foolish clothes. I love them all so I can't say any of them are foolish.
10.Did you have a nice day?
No. I have been sick for 3 days. I have a fever, a flu and a horrible headache. Plus the net is as slow as a granny in a snow.

If some of the questions are weird, it is Fullmoon's or my fault, because I translated them from Finnish to English.
Anyway, to the weird habits:

First, I read good books many times. Many many times. ( twilight 11 times).

I threaten my phone and computer. ( And I am pretty sure that they tease me on purpose...)

I write even little things down, like "do the laundry" or "take a steak out of the fridge". ( I have a really good memory but it's really short...)

There's only three of them... Am I boring when I don't have more weird habits? Or maybe I just don't realize them myself? Anyway, that's it. (Sorry Fullmoon, I failed my first challenge. Forgive me...)

Bye bye then!

I could be this bunny too instead of the pink snake...

Who am I ?

Today is a very important day. Today I woke up. I went to school, though I didn't want to. Today I wasn't kidnapped by aliens. The worlds end didn't come. I started my blog. Today was someones birthday. Today somebody died.

This day is important to me and everybody, because we have a new possibility to change something. We can change the way we eat, work, dress, choose. We can also affect others lives, good or bad ways.

What do you change? I decided to change myself. That is why this blog.

So who am I and what do I want to change?

I'm a girl from Finland, almost a highschooler. My both parents have an own shop, so I have been working as a busy-time helper many many times. I spend my time in school, library and shopping mall. I love chocolate, clothes, shoes (especially them!), music (Emilie Autumn and Kesha), books (fantasy and romantic) and writing

I hope that this blog helps me to figure out what should I do and what to choose.

So

Welcome to Crimson Circus.
